Connell Smith has over 30 years’ experience building and directing successful technology businesses from software startups to large global corporations. Currently Connell operates as a fractional CEO, helping turn around small businesses with growth challenges.

Previously Connell ran a business division for Entrust, a global digital security, identity and access management technology business; helped build two software startups, in collaborative enterprise ebusiness solutions, and hosted mobile applications, both as VP of Product Operations responsible for the product marketing, product management and software development organizations; and ran a unit for Rockwell Automation, a $5B global leader in automation and control products.

Connell has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Minnesota, and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada.
