Daren is active in the MN Tech community as an investor, advisor, and mentor. He has invested in more than 100 startups and mentored dozens of companies in SaaS, Marketplace, and Consumer Tech/Internet sectors.

Prior, Daren was the Founder and CEO of InboxDollars, a marketing technology company that rewards consumers for their online and mobile activities. He founded the company from a dorm room in 2000 and led the company’s growth to $25 million annual revenue with no outside investment capital. The company was acquired in 2019.
